A steep climb out of Settle , but the early rays of sunshine were most welcome.
Walking alongside Attermire Scar we were afforded some spectacular views of the limestone scenery ... and of the local sheep being served breakfast.
On to Malham Cove, spectacular as ever, and the Tarn, revisiting our 2020 route including a stop for lunch at our 'usual' picnic bench.
The return trip was significantly less impressive than the outward journey - comprising mostly water-logged, boggy moorland before a steep descent back to Settle.
