The High Stile Range, Buttermere
A wonderful circuit starting and ending at the national Trust car park at Buttermere. Approximately 11 miles.
The walk initially follows the lakeside path giving views - both of the ridge to be followed later, and of the start of the ascent, Fleetwith Pike. Once the summit of Fleetwith Pike is attained, the walk goes on to Haystacks, then Seat, High Crag, High Stile and Red Pike before descending steeply back to Buttermere.
