8.2 miles
After a climb to Arnside Knot in blazing sunshine we dropped down through the woodland to visit Arnside Tower. On to Silverdale to join the coast (of Morcambe Bay) and a hard slog along the sand before clinbing back into the Arnside Park woodland to return to our hotel.
After dinner we wandered down to the seafront to take in the beautiful sunset.
