Tynemouth

Our first evening in the North East was spent in Tynemouth, a short ride on the Metro from Wallsend.
We settled in to our B&B room, then went for a stroll around the town to scope out an evening meal.
After dinner, we wandered downhill from the castle to the Collingwood Monument and enjoyed views across the estuary to South Shields.
